New Frontier High School

Dear Students, Parents, and Community:

I am so excited and proud to be a part of the work we do at New Frontier High School! Just like in life, there are many paths to success in high school, and NFHS is proud to add value to our students and community by offering another path to meaningful school success in our district.

The mission of New Frontier is to assist students in graduating by helping them to develop independent learning skills, prepare for post-secondary education, and become productive citizens. By developing the attributes of respect, responsibility, and resilience in the academic, social, and civic spheres, students can reach their goals and achieve success. The lessons learned (academic, social, and citizenship) at NFHS pave the way for a successful and fulfilling life for our students.

New Frontier High School works hard to build skills and dispositions that will allow our students to thrive in their post-secondary endeavors. We put an emphasis on learning opportunities that help our students develop the 6 Ps (prompt, prepared, polite, positive mental attitude, participate, and produce) and effective executive functioning skills like attending, emotional regulation, organization, planning, and self-monitoring. As our students develop these character traits, it is remarkable to see the things they achieve.

At New Frontier, we work hard to foster a positive and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered. Our students and staff bring unique backgrounds, knowledge, skills, and talents to the table that contribute to their individual and our collective success. Each student and staff member at NFHS is an important part of our school’s success.

We are excited to work with your students and be a part of their success story.

For more information, feel free to drop by and check out our school (we love visitors) or contact us at (307) 877-5819.

With NFHS Pride,

Bart Jernigan
